Covid-19 Pills

The COVID-19 Pandemic has been part of our lives for over a year now, not a day goes by without it featuring in the news, India is certainly suffering now.  However, there does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel with regards to seeing an end to the pandemic.  The UK has been rolling out a robust inoculation programme, which will see most of the UK population inoculated before 2021 is out. 

Research on the virus continues, last month Pfizer announced that they were working on an oral therapy that could be prescribed at the first sign of infection, without the need for patients to be hospitalised.   (more information in the link) -> https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizer-initiates-phase-1-study-novel-oral-antiviral

We at Riva Europe, think that this is a game changer in the fight against the virus, it would be interesting to see if anyone has any thoughts on the use of oral therapy to fight the virus.
